Description

This Strawberry recipe is perfect for a sunny day. It is high in protein and low in fat, I call it pretty because it actually is.

Ingredients
  • 2 Fresh strawberries (hulled and rinsed)
  • 1 Banana (firm, peeled and cut into 1 inch pieces)
  • 2 tsp Honey (maple syrup, or white sugar to taste)
  • Fresh lemon juice Optional
  • 1 cup Plain whole milk yogurt
  • Ice (optional)
Instructions
  1. Add the yogurt and strawberries to the blender.

  2. Blend until very smooth.

  3. Taste and add a few drops of fresh lemon juice and a little sweetener as needed.

  4. The amount you add will depend on your fruit.

  5. If it tastes a little bland or flat, add both lemon and 1 teaspoon 1 tablespoon sweetener of choice. If it tastes just great, you don’t have to add either!

  6. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container for 2 days in the fridge, shaking well before serving (If you plan to store it, do add the lemon juice.)
