Description

Okra is a plant that have been use widely for ages and it’s got so many recipes and uses, our recipe today is a delight, a finger licking one.

Ingredients
  • Okra fingers
  • 1 kg Fresh Fish
  • 6 pcs Prawns
  • Crabs
  • 400 g Shrimps
  • 1 milk cup Red palm oil
  • 1 handful ugwu (pumpkin leaves)
  • Fresh pepper
  • 1 Onion
  • 3 cubes Seasoning cubes
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
Instructions
  1. Wash the fish

  2. Cut into desired sizes

  3. Shell and de-vein the shrimps and prawns

  4. Wash the crabs

  5. Grate the okra

  6. Wash and Chop the fresh peppers

  7. Wash and Chop the spinach.

  8. Wash and dice the onion

  9. Put water to boil

  10. Add the shrimps, prawns and crabs

  11. Season them and cook for 5 minutes

  12. Put another clean pot on fire

  13. Add the red palm oil, when it heats up, add the diced onions and stir

  14. Add the peppers and put in your seasoning cubes and salt

  15. Cover and cook for 1 minute maximum.

  16. Add in the cooked shrimp, prawn and crabs, then pour little water in.

  17. Let them simmer together for 3 mins

  18. Then add the okra and little ugwu

  19. Stir and leave for few mins

  20. Your soup is ready

  21. Take with any swallow of your choice like Fufu, eba, pounded yam or wheat.
