Recipe Ingredients

First of all, check if you have all the necessary ingredients for this recipe. Pay attention to the quantities!
  • Fresh strawberries (hulled and rinsed) 2 cups
  • Banana (firm, peeled and cut into 1 inch pieces) 1
  • Honey (maple syrup, or white sugar to taste) 2 tsp
  • Fresh lemon juice Optional
  • Plain whole milk yogurt 1 cup
  • Ice (optional) 1 cup

Recipe Instructions

Next, follow the steps to finalize your dish and finally be able to enjoy it!
  1. Add the yogurt and strawberries to the blender.

  2. Blend until very smooth.

  3. Taste and add a few drops of fresh lemon juice and a little sweetener as needed.

  4. The amount you add will depend on your fruit.

  5. If it tastes a little bland or flat, add both lemon and 1 teaspoon 1 tablespoon sweetener of choice. If it tastes just great, you don’t have to add either!

  6. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container for 2 days in the fridge, shaking well before serving (If you plan to store it, do add the lemon juice.)
